《Sinking》沉思是思維上高級的心理活動形式，人腦對訊息的處理包括分析、抽象、綜合、概括、對比系統的和具體的過程，源於思考主體對某事物的矛盾或者對某事物的目的。過程包括：對思考對象的擴大了解、找出問題、分析矛盾、思考解決辦法的不斷螺旋上升過程。
當代影像化的呈現方式逐漸取代了文字閱讀，成為資料儲存與傳遞知識的主要形式。透過影像化的呈現，表現《Sinking 2》過程、不安、焦躁、並與客觀衝突、妥協並建構出深層議題。
